Position Descriptions

Crew Leader: This is a once a month commitment during one of the two Sunday morning services.  As a crew leader you will work with a specific age group.  This position requires NO prep work as your main job is to come and love on the kids!

Crew Leader Helper: This is a once a month commitment during one of the two Sunday morning services specifically designed for Sr. and Jr. High students.  

Center Leader:  This is a full month commitment, serving every other month or every third month.  This job involves leading Games or Crafts which are pre-prepared but he ECC Coordinator.  The job involves leading games or crafts (already prepared by ECC Coordinator) with children ages 3 to 6.  Leaders do the same craft or game 3 times (15 minute time slots) with 3 different age groups.

Bible Story Leader:  This, like center leader, is a full month commitment.  This job involves teaching ages 3-6 from God's Word.  Lessons and activities and laid out in our First Look curriculum.  Bible Story leaders teach the same lesson 3 times (15 minute time slots) to 3 different age groups.  This job does require outside prep work to be prepared enough to effectively help children learn the truths from God's Word.

Worship Leader:  Commitment time varies in with this position.  Worship Leader involves leading a 10-15 minute music worship time at the beginning of the service with the 3-6 year old children.

Skit Leader:  Like Center Leader and Bible Story Leader this is a full month commitment.  With this position you can put your acting skills to use by performing a skit for children ages 3-6 during the opening worship time (approximately 5 minutes).  Skits are provided by our First Look curriculum, and are designed to spark the kids' interest, getting them ready for the Bible Story.

ECC Director:  The ECC Director commitment time varies.  This job involves helping parents with check-in, taking children to their classrooms, and being available during the service to help crew leaders with all needs.  Examples include:  paging parents for crying children, helping with diaper changing, locating extra supplies or snacks, etc.  Other responsibilities include light housekeeping (using Lysol in classrooms at the end of the morning, filling water pitchers for snack time, etc).
